Position Specific Description
Cybersecurity leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on vulnerability management, application security, and risk mitigation. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with specialized cybersecurity knowledge to ensure secure delivery of technology solutions. Key responsibilities include planning and executing security-focused projects and integrating secure development practices, and managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into project lifecycles, monitor risks, and provide executive-level reporting on progress and compliance. Success in this role demands strategic thinking, technical acumen, and the ability to drive complex projects that strengthen the organization’s security posture.
Job Overview
This position plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to schedule and within budget. Employees in this role acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members including third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Individuals define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas
• Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution
• Participates in employee development, coaching, and ongoing performance management
• Applies knowledge and experience in own discipline while continuing to acquire and develop higher-level knowledge and skills
• Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
• Solves a range of straightforward problems
• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedure
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
