Utilize historical data analysis, multiple linear regression, Monte Carlo simulations, scenario analysis, and proprietary models to enhance valuation accuracy.

Conduct Market Research: Research and analyze laws, regulations, tariffs, and market procedures in various markets to create models and forecast applicable costs. Your research will directly inform and refine our valuation processes.

Develop Energy Forecasts: Participate in regional forecasting for energy, volatility, capacity, renewable energy credits, and ancillary services. Use quantitative methods to produce detailed and accurate forecasts.

Assess Financial Products: Perform ad hoc analysis of forwards, futures, options, interest rates, market conditions, exotic structures, weather products, and other financial or commercial assignments. Your findings will contribute to achieving the team's objectives.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of algebra, statistics, probability, present value, portfolio theory, risk and return, discounted cash flows, comparable analysis, energy markets, logic, binomial tree modeling, and calculus.

Programming and Systems: Experience with coding, data management, information systems, and project management to effectively deliver valuation systems.

Why This Internship:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with real-world financial and commodity markets on a power marketing trade floor. Interns will gain practical experience in the development and application of sophisticated models and forecasts, directly impacting business decisions involving substantial financial investment.
