Position Specific Description

The Principal Business Systems Analyst will lead promotional and change management initiatives across a diverse portfolio of internal developer tools and technology platforms. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, optimizing business processes, accelerating adoption of new technologies, and elevating internal developer engagement through innovative programming and events.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, employees will define and execute key campaigns that increase product adoption and ensure successful transitions between different tools & resources. The ideal candidate brings a record of driving initiatives from concept to measurable outcomes, along with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategic campaigns to drive adoption of new internal technologies, including AI tools and developer platforms, resulting in measurable increases in usage and organizational ROI.
  • Lead internal communications for major technology transformations, ensuring clear messaging, leadership buy-in, stakeholder alignment, and successful change adoption.
  • Own and evolve the brand and content strategy for DevHub, establishing it as the core knowledge and enablement resource for developers, increasing engagement and efficiency.
  • Develop, produce, and promote flagship internal events.
  • Provide communications and engagement leadership for major initiatives.
  • Continuously audit and optimize internal communications channels to improve clarity, adoption, and awareness of available resources and tools.
  • Independently manage high-impact projects with minimal oversight while mentoring others on strategic communications and presentation effectiveness.
  • Create promotional assets and event strategies that align with business objectives and ensure consistency of messaging across all initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in leading internal adoption initiatives and cross-functional projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong command of business process optimization, internal marketing, and user adoption strategies.
  • Expertise in designing and executing enterprise-level events, internal campaigns, and digital enablement resources.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical initiatives into clear and engaging narratives.
  • High-level project management skills, with a track record of delivering results on time and exceeding expectations.

  • Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution
  • Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users)
  • Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
  • Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
