Position Specific Description

Our Engineering & Construction Division is looking for a Principal Engineer – Utility Scale Battery to join their team in our Corporate Office in Juno Beach, FL.    This position is responsible for the due diligence, vetting, and acceptance of various battery suppliers for the Energy Storage team. This will include equipment sizing, integration design, battery performance expectations, review of drawings, manuals, and OEM contract documents.  This is considered a critical support role to the Energy Storage Engineering team. 

Job Functions
 
•    Reviews OEM engineering deliverables for technical acceptance.  These include drawings, manuals, performance specifications and thermal management systems
•    Hold cross functional meetings with various stakeholders and OEMs to communicate complex technical concepts throughout the organization
•    Support Project Engineers in design consideration based on OEM specifications 
•    Review OEM contracts for technical feasibility and thoroughness 
•    Support construction and commissioning functions by educating new emerging technology concepts
