Position Specific Description

Job Overview
This position provides strategic analytical support to ensure renewable projects are securely sourced, competitively priced and reliably built. Employees in this role will play a critical role in the major equipment sourcing and construction function to identify project and portfolio level risks, recommend mitigating actions, and recommend process and technology improvements. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying risks and mitigating actions, executing analyses and modeling, and support the development of executive-ready written communication to drive decisions.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and modeling workstreams to optimize the sourcing and build strategy on various time horizons to balance cost and risk
  • Identify the need for new supply chain partners and research supplier landscape
  • Research and synthesize technology trends and new technologies and support the development of business cases for pilots and deployment
  • Analyze policy (e.g. Inflation Reduction Act) to assess impact on supply chain, pricing, and construction
  • Lead modeling and analysis to develop volume and price forecasts, support decision making, and recommend action
  • Develop data based guidance for accounting for risk in sourcing and pricing in project approvals
  • Support in the preparation of content for executive reviews
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed

Job Overview

Employees in this position will be responsible for supporting the management of the day-to-day Financial Planning and Analysis activities of the Business Unit with a primary focus on the budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities required for the various functional areas within the business unit, with a key concentration on driving innovation, process improvement and refinement and other cost-based financial and operational analyses.  In addition to driving business value, this position will support and serve as the key stakeholder for other strategic corporate initiatives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides direct oversight to team of analysts responsible for budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting of financial and operational results          
  • Prioritizes daily workload, special projects and ad-hoc financial requests          
  • Ensures forecasts are both accurate and delivered in a timely manner to comply with firm deadlines          
  • Oversees all Accounting-related processes for the Business Unit/ Division          
  • Collaborates and coordinates with both internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables          
  • Documents, refines and streamlines existing financial analyses and processes          
  • Develops strong working relationships with cross-functional departments within the Business Unit          
  • Seeks, attracts, hires, and retains top talent throughout the team and organization          
  • Develops, mentors and coaches employees and provides on-going performance management          
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance/ Business  
  • Experience: 6+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's - Accounting / Finance
  • Bachelor's - Business Administration
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
