Position Specific Description

Join our Origination Structuring team to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy project development, contract structuring, and execution. Work with cross-functional teams on strategic projects while learning about renewable energy finance and energy markets.

                                                                            

What You'll Do

  • Support pricing, structuring, and analysis of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and financing agreements
  • Assist with financial modeling, risk assessment, and benchmarking efforts
  • Conduct market research on renewable energy opportunities and trends
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project execution
  • Learn about regulatory compliance and the complete project lifecycle

 

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in financial modeling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in renewable energy markets, energy storage, or sustainability
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytical tools
  • Coursework or projects related to finance, energy markets, or renewable energy

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists department with assigned projects
  • Completes challenging projects and assignments
  • Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
  • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school grad / GED
  • Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
  • Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
