Position Specific Description

The NEER Mobility team was formed in 2020 following the acquisition of eIQ Mobility.  The Mobility team is rapidly expanding to keep pace with the transition to Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV).  We are combining the best-in-class fleet assessment services of eIQ Mobility with the energy expertise of the world’s largest renewable energy developer to create infrastructure-as-a-service offerings for commercial fleets looking to decarbonize their fleets. 

As we expand our offerings, we are looking for a talented Marketing Communications Specialist to lead our company’s drive to accelerate transportation electrification. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of B2B marketing for Nextera’s fleet electrification services as well as leading an integrated brand and marketing strategy to drive customer awareness and utilization of Nextera fleet electrification services (advisory and "as a service”  solutions).  

 

In this role, you will maintain a strategic mindset while managing the day-to-day marketing process with limited supervision, including developing and implementing lead generation and retention strategies informed by customer insights and a close understanding of customer expectations in the evolving automotive-buying and electric charging markets. You will partner with internal/external creative, digital / web, PR, customer service, IT teams and vendors to implement branding and marketing campaigns, develop content, manage project schedules, timelines and budgets, and present marketing results and recommendations to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop marketing plans and full-funnel marketing strategies for customer programs (i.e., fleet electrification services) 
  • Develop and own marketing collateral - one pagers, website, case studies, white papers  
  • Collaborate with Business Development,  Product management and other stakeholders in creating compelling sales pitches in alignment with our brand and positioning  
  • Develop event and conference strategy, including identifying, evaluating and planning sponsorship, speaking, and brand activation opportunities 
  • Identifies, establishes, and maintains relationships with vendors, agencies and marketing technology solutions to support the marketing program 
  • Evaluates campaign success using relevant KPIs on an ongoing basis and reports back to the stakeholders with recommendations for improvement 
  • Creates and implement strategies for increased engagement through effective testing and measures ROI  
  • Works closely with product management teams to understand target customer pain points, buyer journey, and product benefits 
  • Drives product messaging, value proposition, positioning and segmentation strategy while leveraging competitive and customer research 
  • Manages and tracks monthly program budgets 
  • Work across creative and agency partners to develop high quality sales enablement tools -- pitch decks, one-sheeters, web content, program overviews and other external facing communications 
  • Crafts compelling content across print and digital marketing channels

  • Marketing expert – proven experience leveraging data, customer insights, market research or market trends to formulate a sound marketing strategy 
  • Writer and editor in chief - own the tone and voice of the brand 

Job Overview

Employees in this role will be responsible for creating visually engaging visual communication to support a variety of business needs. This job will create graphic designs and animations that help explain complex issues for internal/external audiences. Individuals capture video and support audio/visual (AV) needs for corporate-wide events and projects. This position operates satellite uplink equipment to deliver key corporate messages to various media and acts as the subject-matter expert of emerging technologies for the department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designs visual content to create final products in support of campaigns and projects
  • Serves as videographer capturing visual content for use in a variety of internal and external channels
  • Creates 3D animations in support of campaigns and projects
  • Acts as a digital graphic designer, visual storyteller, video producer, and audio/visual technician
  • Travels within the state of Florida and through the United States
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree
