Position Specific Description

As part of our Research, Insights and Analytics team, the Marketing Project Manager (Consumer Insights & Analytics) is responsible for both qualitative and quantitative projects that may include analysis on advertising testing, concept testing, product development, customer experience and brand tracking. The Marketing Project Manager (Consumer Insights & Analytics) leads projects from the earliest stages of development through to successful completion on time, on budget and as measured by achievement of defined metrics.


This is a senior-level position that serves as a key contributor on the team in a broad range of activities with a focus on marketing analytics and product development. A successful candidate will have a background in marketing research and / or data analytics and will have experience manipulating, understanding, and synthesizing data from large data sets to uncover trends and provide feedback.
Employees in this role are expected to work with a high degree of initiative and independence in anticipating client needs, developing solutions that further the business objectives and ensuring their successful implementation. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, including all levels of leadership, to scope, plan, manage, and drive all steps in the project lifecycle.
  • Determine all steps to deliver each project efficiently, develop and drive timelines, manage schedule and scope multiple projects.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and act as a change agent to champion new processes/tools within the organization.
  • Drive the development of analytics initiatives that convert data into actionable insights using an understanding of the business strategy and business problems
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities and ad hoc analytic requests
  • Outlines measurement plans for comprehensive, multichannel marketing programs and campaigns
  • Manages marketing optimization programs, including developing measurement and test plans, segmenting audiences and measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies
  • Performs media measurement and optimization, calculating ROI across marketing channels
  • Develops and reports on KPIs to measure performance
  • Communicates conclusions, implications, and recommendations in a concise fashion to support more effective decision-making
  • Manages and maintains current PowerBI dashboards and ongoing analysis
  • Explores emerging trends in the marketing analytics field, especially as it relates to machine learning, predictive analytics and media resonance modeling
  • Effectively manages multiple external vendor relationships.
  • Has the ability to understand, manipulate and analyze complex data sets through hands-on analyses
  • May perform work in other Marketing and Communication functions, as assigned


Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including a technical or business field, preferred. Well-developed data manipulation, analysis, reporting and project management skills required. Demonstrable consultative and critical thinking skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Confirmit software are strongly preferred.
