This includes:

  • Acting as the CEO of the assets
  • Driving optimal commercial and regulatory outcomes
  • Maximizing revenue and optimizing operational performance

In this role you will play a central role in driving business transformation through a major data modernization initiative. Your focus will be on aligning business priorities with technical solutions, ensuring successful adoption of new capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders across Business Units, Digital & IT, Finance and other key functions to shape implementation strategy, mitigate risks, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into technical priorities by partnering with product owners and technical teams to define clear, actionable requirements that enable better decision-making, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence.
  • Own the change and implementation strategy—developing and executing plans for business readiness, adoption, training, and stakeholder engagement across diverse functions.
  • Serve as the business lead in delivery teams, ensuring that user stories, workflows, and enhancements reflect true business value and align with broader transformation goals.

  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment, ensuring consistent communication, ownership, and accountability across all impacted teams and processes.
  • Support the design and deployment of business-facing tools, integrating operational data (e.g., from SCADA, historian systems, SAP) into decision workflows that enhance commercial and regulatory performance.
  • Drive the broader data strategy by integrating cutting-edge trends such as edge computing and Multi-cloud Platforms (MCP), ensuring our initiatives shape the future of data integration and management.
  • Monitor and report on adoption and business outcomes, tying progress back to strategic goals and financial impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or certifications in Agile, Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in business transformation, digital programs, or strategy execution.
  • Strong track record of leading change in complex organizations, including stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and business readiness.
  • Understanding of energy markets, including commodity trading, ISO/RTO commitments, and regulatory frameworks that impact commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, with strong fluency in tools and platforms like historian systems, SCADA, SAP, or cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of how real-time and operational data (e.g., SCADA, telemetry, asset performance) translates into business use cases such as revenue forecasting, predictive maintenance, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and align stakeholders from frontline teams to executive leadership.
