Position Specific Description

The Manager of Product Managers serves as a strategic partner and key influencer to senior leadership across NextEra Energy, responsible for building and maintaining executive relationships throughout the enterprise to champion product vision, negotiate priorities, and align cross-functional initiatives with corporate strategic objectives. This role demands exceptional ability to communicate with and influence C-suite executives, Vice Presidents, and senior directors across vertical business units, translating complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives that drive strategic decision-making and secure executive sponsorship for transformative initiatives. Leading a team of Product Managers, this leader is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing product management talent, establishing best practices and frameworks that enable the team to excel at customer discovery, problem-solving, and delivering innovative SaaS solutions from ideation through customer delivery. The successful candidate will guide their team in working directly with customers to uncover underlying business challenges and pain points rather than simply collecting feature requests, then developing solutions that address root business problems, while continuously engaging senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, communicate risks and opportunities, and secure the resources and organizational support needed for success. This position requires a leader who can balance hands-on coaching and team development with strategic executive engagement, leveraging their executive presence and credibility to facilitate strategic conversations, present consolidated product roadmaps to leadership forums, and navigate organizational dynamics to remove barriers and accelerate outcomes for their team. As a mentor, subject matter expert, and people leader, this individual will influence product strategy at the highest levels while building a high-performing team committed to NextEra Analytics' rapid, low-bureaucracy, AI-driven SaaS development that delivers measurable enterprise value.
