Position Specific Description

NextEra is seeking a highly organized, analytical and motivated strategic project manager to join the team.  This role will be responsible for quality deployment and project management activities for complex and high-volume process improvement initiatives across the organization.  The successful candidate will support project teams by applying both Agile and Waterfall practices, with a strong focus on task management, follow-through, and effective communication. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple cross-functional projects to drive AI-readiness using both an Agile and waterfall framework to deliver overall efficiency across the organization.
• Implement quick-win strategies to build excitement and empower employees to embrace technological advancements and process improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments and teams to integrate AI technologies and scalable solutions into existing processes.
• Develop process automation using software tools such as Alteryx, MS 365 Power Apps, Power Automate, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Analyze project requirements and determine optimal strategies for achieving objectives in alignment with the company's mission of fostering innovation and reducing manual effort.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by coordinating tasks, resolving impediments, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation using platforms like Confluence, in support of process improvement and scalability initiatives.
• Create and deliver clear presentations using PowerPoint to effectively communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, discussing any impediments and facilitating solutions.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a project team environment is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies and their practical applications
• Proficiency in JIRA for task management and story documentation.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
