Position Specific Description
The Manager Special Projects ISC role focuses on energy storage procurement and contracting for NEER and FPL battery construction projects. Responsibilities include selecting and sourcing appropriate equipment, ensuring timelydelivery, and achieving project economics through energy generation. The role requires extensive collaborationwith technical, operational, and development teams, alongside effective communication with executivemanagement. Oversight includes large-scale project management, global supplier relationship maintenance, andspecific tasks like contract development and commercial negotiation. The position requires strong projectdocumentation, understanding of project scopes, and coordination across various business units. Key duties alsoinvolve leading projects to completion within deadlines, with some international travel. Required qualificationsinclude a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 8+ years of relevant experience.Preferred qualifications highlight familiarity with NextEra’s procurement processes, multitasking capabilities,technical and business management experience, and skills in contracts and negotiation.
