Position Specific Description
Business Management Strategic Initiatives team is seeking a seasoned App Dev Lead to help us deliver Apps and analytical solutions for Operations, Finance, and leadership by working closely with cross-functional business groups and subject matter experts.
We are seeking a specialist in AWS, Postgres SQL, .NET, Angular, and C#, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of web applications. This role involves working across the entire stack to deliver end-to-end solutions and ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular for front-end and .NET (C#) for back-end.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS.
• Work with Postgres SQL for database management and optimization.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Skillsets Needed:
• Technical Skills: Expertise in front-end technologies (Angular), back-end development (C#/.NET), and database management (Postgres SQL).
• Cloud Skills: Proficiency in AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within an Agile team environment and contribute to group objectives.
• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Overview
This position is responsible for developing algorithms, modeling techniques, and optimization methods that support many aspects of NextEra and FPL business. Employees in this role use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (i.e., “Big Data”).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops machine learning, optimization and other modeling solutions
- Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
- Works with big data and distributed computing platforms
- Develops software and contributes to product development
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Experience: 4+ years
