Position Specific Description

The position’s responsibilities include working with employees at all levels across the enterprise to sustain and grow the company’s Knowledge Sharing (KS) program.  This individual will lead the activities associated with creating and launching new Knowledge Sharing Networks (Communities of Practice) and maintaining and continuously improving existing networks. The position serves as the primary Knowledge Management contact for executive sponsors and leaders of the various networks. Employee is also responsible for leading working sessions with network leaders and core team members to assess current levels of value / activity to identify and champion opportunities for improvement. This role provides functional guidance to new and existing networks. 

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on an on-going basis with end users, internal stakeholders and KS IT Systems programmer / Analyst to solve problems and launch improved functionality
  • Develops and modifies procedures to address frequently asked questions and address KS training needs
  • Champion training of individual network leaders and coordinators on how to maintain and administer their sites 
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of KS related training material
  • Generate and implement ideas that will help continuously improve the knowledge sharing program 
  • Lead the development and execution of change management plans to launch major improvements to the Knowledge Sharing program
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications department to spearhead general promotions and communication campaigns 
  • Write announcements and notifications for knowledge sharing network executive sponsors / leaders to help them launch, grow and sustain their networks
  • Monitor daily knowledge sharing platform alerts for issues and cross network sharing opportunities
  • Maintain the knowledge sharing platform Homepage (launch page) by continuously refreshing the content with current events / topics of interest
  • Lead individual network Health Check meetings, record action items and publish results. Follow up with KS Team members and individual network teams to ensure action items are completed
  • Champion KS document management activities with individual network leadership teams
  • Responsible for ensuring that the knowledge sharing platform Homepage (launch page) is updated periodically to demonstrate the program’s vibrancy on an ongoing basis
  • Refresh the “Co-worker Conversations” area of the eWeb Home Page twice a week
  • Facilitate an award program that tracks and rewards knowledge contributions 
  • Support quality assurance testing for new feature developments in the knowledge sharing platform
  • Outline new network launch schedules and coordinate their execution with ESN leaders
  • Be capable of championing the launch of new networks by interacting with all levels of leadership while outlining and training them on the various KS program roles and responsibilities
  • Generative AI industry development review for recommendations of additions to the Knowledge Sharing platform

Job Overview

  • Supports development and execution of strategic communications plans, key messages, programs and campaigns to support business objectives using research/analytics. Creates visual and written content for internal and external channels (newsletters, digital and social media, video, etc.)
  • Supports internal business partners on communications strategy and provides executive and communications support. Serves as liaison for assigned business units and serves as project manager for campaigns and cross-functional initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 2+ years
