Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Manager to lead our SAP Finance Systems team. This role is critical in ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP finance solutions, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Lead a team of SAP finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure team alignment with departmental goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for SAP finance systems to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of SAP finance projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • System Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in SAP finance processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable SAP finance system requirements.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all SAP finance operations align with corporate governance and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for SAP finance projects and operations, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in SAP finance systems and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system integrity and performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with SAP finance systems implementation and management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make complex decisions.
  • Deep understanding of finance business processes and how they relate to technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Overview

This position establishes strategy, develops business plans, and oversees and directs the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•  Provides leadership, influence, vision, roadmap, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals

•  Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy

•  Oversees the value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs

•  Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation

•  Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments

•  Oversees the development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)

•  Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs

•  Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives

•  Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies

•  Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  High School Grad / GED

•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

•  Experience: 10+ years

•  Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
