Position Specific Description

The HR Data Analytics Specialist plays a key role in harnessing data to drive strategic HR initiatives, particularly in healthcare and wellness plan management. This role utilizes data analytics to offer insights into cost management, utilization patterns, and the effectiveness of HR policies and programs, including the analysis of Paid versus Incurred data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Perform in-depth analysis of HR and healthcare data to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decisions, particularly in understanding cost dynamics through Paid versus Incurred data analysis.
  • Predictive Analytics: Develop predictive models to identify trends and forecast future needs in employee health and wellness, supporting the overall HR strategy.
  • Integration and Management: Manage data from diverse sources, ensuring it is effectively integrated into HR systems for comprehensive analysis.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to HR leaders and other stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with HR teams and external partners to enhance data sharing practices and support the implementation of analytics-driven HR strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and tools, fostering innovation and efficiency within HR operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in data analytics with specific experience in HR or healthcare data contexts.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, predictive modeling, and visualization platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.

 

Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders and foster a data-driven culture.This role is essential for enabling strategic HR decisions and optimizing health and wellness plans through data-driven insights.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic partner to HR and business unit(s) in managing the needs assessment, design, and implementation of customer solutions related to HR analytics
  • Performs moderate-to-complex analysis, develops alternative recommendations, and formulates implementation strategies to meet customer needs
  • Develops dashboards and presentations
  • Participates in market surveys and benchmarking of HR programs
  • Participates in validation and testing of reporting tools
  • Participates in or leads one-or-more special projects
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 2+ years
