Position Specific Description
The HR Advisor II partners with employees, leaders, HRCS, Legal, and other stakeholders to provide consultation and support across a variety of HR Compliance programs. While this position primarily supports workplace accommodations and return-to-work services, it also contributes across other HR Compliance functions, including policy administration, regulatory compliance, investigations support, reporting, process improvement, and other compliance initiatives as business needs evolve. The successful candidate combines strong HR consulting, case management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new compliance programs and adapt to changing priorities. This role requires sound judgment, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage sensitive situations while balancing employee experience, business objectives, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate embraces continuous improvement and leverages technology and AI to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Job Overview
Employees in this role partner with assigned business units to consult in one or more areas of human resources. This job will address employee and leader inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responds to employee or leader inquiries regarding performance coaching, leader policy consulting, progressive discipline, employee guidance and other employee related matters
- Recommends, counsels and assists management regarding workforce planning and design, employee development, process improvement, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, diversity, and staffing and recruiting
- Consults with team members to identify employee issues and provide tailored “people solutions” to meet business objectives
- Provides recommendations for case resolution and closure
- Fosters and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
- Achieves required metrics and offer suggestions to continuously improve processes, systems and technology
- Provides data-driven analysis and recommendations
- Participates in one or more HR projects
- Ensures compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 1+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Professional HR Certification (PHR)
- Senior Professional in HR Cert (SPHR)
