Executive Director - IT Cybersecurity, Deputy CISO

Job Overview

This position establishes and maintains a corporate-wide information and technology security management program, to ensure that company assets are adequately protected. This leader manages overall enterprise risk by focusing on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, cyber operations, and overall cybersecurity service delivery—especially for critical business units and functional areas of the enterprise.                                            
 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the enterprise's Cybersecurity and Technology Risk organization 
  • Develops, implements, and monitors a strategic and comprehensive enterprise technology security and IT risk management program
  • Works directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
  • Partners with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management and cybersecurity concerns
  • Interacts with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services
  • Assists with enterprise-wide information technology planning, providing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
  • Supports the implementation of Cybersecurity program initiatives and service delivery, and ensures appropriate cybersecurity coverage for the businesses within the position’s span of control 
  • Works to ensure cyber risks are proactively managed and effectively controlled, mitigated, and remediated with Senior Business Unit Leadership buy-in & support
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Certified Information Systems Aud (CISA)
