Position Specific Description

Job Description

The Combustion Turbine (CT) Parts Team manages capital CT parts from both a cost and technical perspective.  The goal of this team is to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective parts for planned and unplanned powerplant outages. This role supports CT Parts Engineering Team with all assignments and related tasks to our goal. Initially, this is an immediate support role for parts tracking, data entry, purchase order release against a contract, and internal order management. This role will evolve to managing an entire OEM parts program as proficiency is gained.  

An ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to work independently, and willing to learn and work as a team. 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports combustion turbine capital parts planning, monthly cash flows, data entry, and special projects
  • Works closely with the Combustion Turbine Team
  • Communicate complex topics effectively
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Sharp organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills
  • Detail oriented execution
  • Ability to work with and without team guidance
  • Competency in Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with combustion turbines
  • Prior experience with Parts and Configuration Management
