Position Specific Description
The Director, Corporate Real Estate Strategy & Analytics leads enterprise‑level strategy and analytics to unlock value across NextEra Energy’s real estate portfolio, supporting both Florida Power & Light (FPL) and NextEra Energy Resources (NEER). This role is responsible for shaping how the company thinks about its land and facility assets—identifying opportunities to monetize underutilized or future‑use properties, informing portfolio optimization decisions, and evaluating long‑term real estate needs, including office and facility requirements across the country. This role serves as a thought partner to Corporate Real Estate leadership, providing insight, structure, and forward‑looking analysis that supports strategic decision‑making.
This role drives market research, portfolio analytics, and scenario planning to evaluate multiple pathways for land and facility assets, including interim use, monetization, hold, or future development. The director develops clear business cases, financial models, and decision frameworks, translating complex data and market intelligence into executive‑ready recommendations. Working cross‑functionally with CRE leaders, Development, Finance, Legal, and business unit partners, this leader helps establish portfolio governance, success metrics, and a disciplined approach to realizing long‑term value from the company’s real estate assets.

Job Overview
This position is responsible for using business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy and then refocus an organization on making that strategy a reality
- Consulting with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategic and operating success by developing insight, conducting independent analysis, and working with clients to assure assignment progress
- Developing conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, assisting in client presentations and providing implementation assistance as required
- Presenting to senior executives • Constructing the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leading the problem solving associated
- Conducting both client and market development to grow the business
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 4+ years
