Position Specific Description

The Financial Analyst supports the NextEra Energy Investments team with financial analysis, reporting, and portfolio monitoring. This role focuses on tracking investment performance, preparing financial reports, and other activities for NEI's portfolio companies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support investment tracking processes and prepare regular financial reports for NEI portfolio companies
• Assist with valuation analysis and financial modeling for current investments
• Coordinate with portfolio company management to gather financial data and understand business performance
• Prepare monthly investment summaries and quarterly portfolio updates for management review
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate portfolio company performance against projections
• Maintain NEI investment databases and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Support budget preparation and forecasting processes for the NEI team
• Prepare presentation materials and financial exhibits for management meetings
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
