Position Specific Description

Are you interested in joining a diverse team dedicated to developing renewable energy? If so,
we are seeking a Business Analyst III who prioritizes excellent customer service and support to serve as a critical bridge between financial operations and development activities. This multifaceted role combines accounting and project management software systems to process invoices collaboratively across development teams, vendor maintenance, cash management, master data, and internal financial stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and accurate cost tracking of general/administrative and capital expenses throughout the development lifecycle.

 

This position focuses on day-to-day customer service and support to the development organization for accounts payable processing and finance operations requests and maintenance. A large portion of this role will be devoted to processing and analyzing invoices for accuracy, compliance, accounting treatment, and proper authorization for all stages of the development pipeline. This individual must have a strong customer service mindset, be action oriented, be able to handle large workloads, have strong follow through, be organized, and have an all-in team player mentality looking to develop career skills in financial business services. 


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

•    Timely processing and validation of invoice accuracy, compliance, and proper accounting treatment to ensure project expenditures are recorded correctly
•    Collaborating with developers and other internal stakeholders to ensure vendor relationships remain strong by resolving invoice discrepancies quickly and ensuring timely and accurate payments
•    Researching and collaborating to update and maintain correct master data to ensure accurate financial coding and reporting 
•    Coordinate urgent wire and ACH payment processing
•    Support and liaison vendor onboarding and maintenance activities
•    Provide insights and recommendations based on vendor and invoice data analysis
•    Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
•    Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements across the end-to-end invoice processing and payment workflow

 

Job Overview

  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects
  • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 1+ years
