Position Specific Description

Associate Business Analyst - Tax Payment COE Team
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Business Analyst to join our Tax Payment COE team. This role is integral in supporting the processing of sales and use tax payments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and/or payment processing, complemented by effective communication skills to liaise with both vendors and internal business units.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of accounting functions in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Apply advanced bookkeeping accounting principles in the performance of daily responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Identify and complete all tasks that can be performed prior to month end.
  • Ensure SOx compliance with all processes.
  • Conduct special projects and analysis as needed
  • Prepare master data forms S4HANA (SAP) and provide payment support.
  • Provide audit support to external auditors
  • Identify, document, and support process improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Capability to initiate, manage, and complete assigned projects efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and Confluence is a plus.
  • Experience in working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of engagement and proactive approach to responsibilities.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of tax records and the preparation of all or specifically assigned tax returns, corporate income tax returns, separate company corporate income tax and partnership tax returns and related reports.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


•   Assists in conducting financial and economic analyses and developing and preparing the organization’s financial plans and budgets
•   Supports in the administration of federal and/or state income tax audits
•   Assists in researching inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


•  High School Grad / GED
•  Bachelor's Degree
•  Experience:0+ years

Preferred Qualifications


•  Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
