Position Specific Description

We own two electric companies: Florida Power & Light Company, which serves more than five million customer accounts in Florida and is the largest rate-regulated electric utility in the United States; and Gulf Power Company, which serves more than 460,000 customers in eight counties throughout Northwest Florida.
 
Our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Department is seeking an Administrative Technician to join their team in our Corporate Office, Juno Beach, FL.

 

The selected candidate for this role will:

  • Schedule and coordinate all materials for weekly Request for Proposal (RFP) meetings. Ensure materials are distributed on schedule and accurately;
  • Coordinate calendar activities for Director of Sourcing, including initiation of all teleconferences, meeting scheduling, visitor coordination, and facilitating timely participation;
  • Process expense reports for ISC Lead Team;
  • Support Employee Engagement activities;
  • Lead/support adhoc projects as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under supervision:

  • Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems
  • Audits and processes invoices in accordance with accounts payable procedures
  • Interacts with all levels of employees as needed to perform responsibilities
  • Works on special projects as requested
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 5+ years
