Position Specific Description

Join Power Wizard, a startup funded by NextEra Energy, a Fortune 200 and North America’s largest renewable energy company. We specialize in comparing electricity plans and find the best Texas electricity rates for our customers. We ensure our customers never overpay for electricity ever again.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Defines & develops e-commerce strategy with a focus on UI/UX, conversion, analytics and profitability; Analyzes and assesses channel and full funnel performance data
  • Develops platform growth and transformation plans for core commodity and home energy optimization product lines
  • Drives and translates technical concepts and synthesizes complexity to drive business value and functions as critical liaison between Marketing, Product Development and IT
  • Advocates for the end user experience through data and research driven methods
  • Ensures alignment between Product, Business and Platform priorities in context of overall strategy and goals
  • Collaborates with IT, Marketing, Business Unit and Product Development leaders to deliver best in class digital solutions
  • Develops and/or upgrades websites and apps to best in class UI/UX with a focus on building out a new suite of technology enabled energy centric solutions for the home
  • Advocates for continual enhancements of Digital Ecosystem
  • Partners with IT to identify and prioritize capability building initiatives including site analytics, A/B & Multivariate testing capabilities, scorecards, and UI/UX
  • Senior lead on retail and digital commerce incidents. Communicates details such as impact, status, and resolution with technology and business leaders; identifies and addresses root cause of issues
  • Hires, coaches and develops Digital Team talent
  • Manages group financials and budget, including operating expenses, capital budget, forecasting, and strategic planning for the group; assists with business case development and planning exercises

 

Job Overview

This job is responsible for overseeing all external and internal marketing communications assuring alignment with corporate and business strategy. Leaders in this role manage the staff responsible for the development and implementation of the company's marketing communication programs, campaigns, initiatives, and activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


•   Develops marketing and advertising campaigns and programs from strategic concept to completion
•   Oversees the design and development of all external and internal marketing communication related initiatives in the business plan
•   Ensures marketing objectives and measures are aligned with our overall business objectives
•   Designs and implements marketing communication strategies
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
