Position Specific Description

Employees in this role oversee EverBright’s Safe Harbor and Domestic Content programs, ensuring optimal deployment of residential solar equipment, effective inventory utilization, and maximization of project-level investment tax credits. The role sits within EverBright Energy Operations and requires extensive cross-functional coordination across EverBright Sales, Deal Processing, Product, Customer Experience, and NextEra Energy Sourcing, Legal, and Tax teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on IRS regulations impacting residential solar, including ITC, Safe Harbor, and Domestic Content requirements.

• Act as liaison between EverBright and NextEra Energy, aligning strategy, objectives, and commercial priorities to secure cross‑functional support.

• Develop and execute equipment procurement and deployment strategies to maximize ITC benefits aligned with annual capital deployment plans.

• Design and maintain systems and processes to capture project‑level data meeting IRS and NextEra Energy tax compliance requirements.

• Manage commercial relationships with key equipment suppliers and distribution partners to ensure operational continuity and performance.

• Build financial models to forecast equipment demand and support commercial decision‑making, presenting assumptions and results to executive stakeholders.

• Resolve project‑level issues promptly to avoid delays, protect customer and installer experience, and maximize inventory life and ITC value.

• Process and approve invoices for strategic equipment purchases in accordance with negotiated commercial terms and payment schedules.

• Lead a blended team of offshore contractors and exempt employees, delegating effectively and developing commercial capability.

• Champion continuous improvement by partnering across EverBright to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and implement automation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, and Sourcing to develop risk‑aware commercial agreements and lead external negotiations aligned with business strategy.

This job will use business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy
  • Conducts both client and market development to grow the business
  • Consults with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategy and operating success
  • Develops conclusions and recommendations, writes reports, assists in client presentations and provides implementation assistance as required
  • Constructs the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leads the problem solving process associated
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience:8+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience:2+ years
