Position Specific Description

This full-time, key position is responsible for managing deliverables supporting large-scale, complex transactional digital projects within the customer-facing digital experience roadmaps for the Gexa and Frontier brands. You will utilize strong project management skills to provide support during the design and development process, leveraging expertise in customer engagement best practices, UX best practices and site architecture best practices to meet business objectives. This role supports digital retention, service and life-of-customer experiences. Additionally, it will support the development and launch of our new suite of products and capabilities centered around energy optimization and green living by delivering engaging digital experiences that inform, intrigue and inspire visitors and customers alike.


With this team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with passionate leadership and the ability to make a huge impact enterprise-wide. You will be responsible for driving all phases of medium to large projects/programs to successful completion. The position will provide day-to-day leadership, management and coordination of all activities pertaining to project direction, planning, assignments, project health and reporting, problem resolution and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

 

Duties include project management for all digital self-service, retention and energy optimizer transactions, working with the team to deliver the user interface design, research and detailed analytics, as well as implementation and evaluation of digital tools. You will be expected to work both autonomously, with limited supervision, and interactively with other team members, demonstrating a commitment toward shared goals and a willingness to take initiative.

Job Overview

Employees in this role lead the identification, investigation, design, planning, and successful commercialization of new products and services at both the state and national level including associated Profit and Loss accountability. Individuals drive appropriate analysis to support business cases and investments, building necessary cross-functional teams, identifying and executing stage gate product launch activities, and developing and implementing end-to-end market strategies to successfully commercialize products. This position provides mentorship for other Product Managers around the Product Launch Process and pipeline management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies and commercializes development projects which drive sustained long term earnings growth and are consistent with the company’s strategy, values, culture, and vision
  • Completes requirements definition, budget, product positioning and branding, sourcing and development of features, customer communications and collateral, acquisition, migration strategies, and front line training
  • Conducts end-to-end new product and service life cycle activities from ideation and planning through development, execution of stage gate activities, and successful commercialization including associated Profit and Loss accountability
  • Develops and maintains a robust pipeline of potential product and service innovations to drive product vitality and sustained growth for the business
  • Prioritizes opportunities and active projects to align with overall innovation mission and strategy
  • Leverages primary and secondary quantitative, qualitative, and trend research and data to identify gaps, draw conclusions, and shape winning customer focused initiatives based on market shifts and trends
  • Conducts technical and voice of the customer research, evaluates adjacent potential technologies and product opportunities, and engages and develops relationships with key third party partners to expand or accelerate product and service innovations
  • Develops financial models, business cases, and product documentation needed to support product and service investment
  • Manages and maintains strategic working relationships with consultants, vendors, and third parties to identify and advance product, service, and channel initiatives
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 6+ years

  • Master’s - Business Administration
