Position Specific Description
- Provides guidance and direction to Revenue team members
- Assist Revenue Accountants with monthly Operated Revenue close.
- Prioritize and complete any needed Reverse/Rebooks as required.
- Ensure Revenue entries are booked accurately and timely.
- Analyze monthly revenue variances.
- Review monthly accounts receivable balances and prepare aging schedule with explanations.
- Follow up with purchasers regarding missing revenue payments.
- Prepare monthly Excalibur entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly Revenue Reconciliations.
- Assist with analysis of Excalibur to SAP Reconciliations.
- Assist with owner inquiries and detailed owner reconciliations.
- Coordinate monthly meetings with the Division Order and Marketing departments.
- Maintain awareness of accounting issues and contractual updates.
- Maintain relationships with other departments within the organization to ensure that Revenue Accounting has the pertinent information for the monthly close.
- Work with the Division Order department regarding deck changes and Take in Kind Revenues.
- Assures accounting integrity of financial data through the implementation of appropriate internal controls.
- Assist with the revenue accounting journal entries and payments related to acquisitions and divestures of assets.
- Ensures consistent application of accounting policies.
- Special projects or tasks as needed.

- SAP Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivots, formulas, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excalibur, TIPS, and PowerBI experience helpful but not required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor - Accounting / Finance / Business
- Experience: 6+ years of Oil & Gas Revenue Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Accounting / Finance
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
