Position Specific Description

This position will be a management role within the Retail Operations Team. Specifically, it will oversee and be responsible for timely and accurate bill processing and customer service across all markets and segments within the Gexa and NextEra retail business operations footprint.


Additional responsibilities include adherence to all Market rules and regulations without exception, process improvement identification and implementation, quality assurance, career development, communication with Executive leadership team and project collaboration across Retail Operations and other business units.


Job Overview

This job is responsible for the day to day activities of the organization, including throughput processing, exception monitoring, metric tracking and issue resolution consistent with an optimally functioning business unit.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies, researches, and resolves operational issues
  • Provides gap analysis as needed
  • Ensures the approach within the team is focused on positive customer experience and creating customer value through relentless performance delivery
  • Participates in identifying and recommending process improvement solutions for increased overall performance, productivity and capability
  • Prepares spreadsheets, graphics, and word documents as required for tracking, reporting, analysis, documentation and presentations
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define effective customer solutions to meet business needs
  • Ensures compliance of rules and regulations across all customer segments in all states
  • Assists in creating and maintaining process documentation across markets
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience 10+ years
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
