Position Specific Description
Our Enterprise Geospatial team is seeking a Geospatial DataOps and Systems Manager with strong functional knowledge and background in Esri Geospatial Platform. They will work to develop standards for a scalable Enterprise Geospatial Platform to enable end-to-end geospatial workflows and content distribution across multiple business units.
Essential Skills
- 15+ years’ experience in a GIS Specialist or Lead role
- Geospatial Business Processes, Applications and Data Operations experience
- Experience defining roadmaps and standards
- Decompose a business request into meaningful capabilities and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Successfully demonstrated leadership and influential skills in a complex organization
- Adept at creative solution development, drive to innovate and automate
- Used to an agile, fast-paced, dynamic project environments
- Managed teams responsible for application development, system configuration, support, data schema, and data pipeline development
Desired Technical / GIS Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments
- Implementation experience in AWS for Esri Solutions
- Geospatial Data Architecture
- Geospatial ETL Best Practices
- Strong understanding of GIS workflow best practices and functionality
- Familiarity with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practices

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides cutting-edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teams
- Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems, that are reliable and efficient
- Develops customized programming solutions, and maintains existing system functionality
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, and prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
- Applies appropriate development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools and technology
- Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst
- Participates in the ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfaction
- Leads large projects when needed
- Provides direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff
- Builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 8+ years
