Position Specific Description

This person should have broad technical background working with various technologies. He or she should feel comfortable working closely with business users to solve problem or designing new solutions. The job also requires transition between application administration, system integration and software development skillsets.  Strong communication skills are critical to their success. 

You will excel in this position is you possess the following:

  • AWS cloud development experience
  • AWS architecture experience
  • Middleware integration experience
  • Database skills backend and frontend
  • Comfortable within a full-stack development environment – hands on from an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) perspective (JAVA, C#/.NET, Python, etc.)
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment

Job Overview

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">This position assesses, designs, develops, integrates and troubleshoots technology to support business processes. Employees provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams, as needed within specific or multiple disciplines. This position is accountable for ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems, as well as ensuring that excellent technical support services are provided.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes and enhances existing or new systems

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Participates in the change management and  service ticket management processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and ensuring customer satisfaction

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Designs, develops and  tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors on matters relating to computer systems as required

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Defines metrics and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for systems being developed

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  High School Grad / GED

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Experience: 5+ years

Preferred Qualifications

<span style="font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">•  Bachelor's - Information Systems
