Position Specific Description

This position requires knowledge of equipment reliability concepts and use of analytical tools to improve productivity.  Knowledge and/or hands on experience with solar and/or energy storage field troubleshooting and repair is desirable.  The position is highly interdependent and will require interface with all areas of the department, spanning from field operations for data collection and analysis, to formal presentations to executive management.  

 

  • Use reliability centered maintenance concepts to identify and drive productivity improvements at solar, storage and distributed generation sites. 
  • Compile and analyze actual performance data to better understand best-achievable targets for month/year end.  Recommend possible outcomes to best achieve or exceed availability and/or downtime targets. 
  • Personally support field operations and maintenance to gain firsthand understanding of key drivers requiring improvement.
  • Drive process discipline through development of procedures and/or standardizing use of work management systems and reporting tools (IBM Maximo, PowerBI)
  • Lead root cause analyses and corrective action for top issues affecting reliability or cost
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive OEM improvements in current design and possible equipment improvements/upgrades
  • Support and/or lead various special projects focused on improving work quality and lowering cos
  • Six Sigma Belt, Lean, or ASQ CQE Certification
  • Knowledge of SAP Production Planning module

•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
