Position Specific Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive scheduler to join our team. The scheduler will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and scheduling personnel resources to meet operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong sense of urgency. The scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring timely response to resource and scheduling requests to maintain smooth operations.


The ideal candidate would also be effectively able to communicate in multiple languages: English and Spanish. Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and communication devices. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Additional certifications or training in dispatching or emergency response is a plus. Knowledge of geographic areas, routes, and traffic patterns is a plus.
 
Daily tasks would include:
    • Receive and prioritize service and appointment requests from customers or internal departments.
    • Efficiently allocate personnel resources to timely fulfill service requests or assignments.
    • Monitor and track the status and progress of dispatched units, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, field personnel, leadership and other stakeholders to provide instructions, updates, and support.
    • Handle changes calmly and effectively, coordinating responses and deploying resources as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of service requests, assignments, and dispatch activities using designated software or systems.
    • Provide timely and clear communication to customers, and internal teams regarding service status, delays, or changes.
    • Collaborate with other dispatchers and team members to optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, or requests for assistance from both external and internal customers.
    • Identify and report any issues or challenges related to dispatch operations, proposing solutions and improvements as needed.
    • Providing ongoing support and guidance to other dispatchers and other team members.

 

This position may be filled from Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade County
